Dental Implants

Unmatched Comfort, Uncompromising Quality with Our Dental Implants.

The Next Best Thing to the Real Thing

If you’re like the hundreds of patients we’ve helped who are missing teeth, you know how annoying and frustrating it can be. Having a missing tooth can not only look unattractive but can potentially lead to other dental issues further down the line. That’s why many patients have turned to us to help handle the transition to dental implants.

In Ottawa, most of our patients considering dental implants typically fall into one of three main categories, influenced by various factors.

Dental implants serve a variety of crucial purposes in modern dentistry. Firstly, they offer an effective solution for replacing one or more missing teeth without causing any harm to adjacent healthy teeth.

Secondly, they play a vital role in supporting dental bridges, eliminating the requirement for removable partial dentures and providing a stable foundation for bridgework.

Additionally, dental implants greatly enhance the comfort and security of denture wearers by providing a secure anchor, making dentures more stable and natural-feeling.

Overall, dental implants have revolutionized tooth replacement options by offering durable and versatile solutions for a range of dental needs.

With dental implants, regain the confidence to speak and eat comfortably, backed by their remarkable reliability.

Aesthetic

Dental implants look and feel like your own teeth. No one will ever know that you have a replacement tooth.

Protection

Unlike a traditional bridge, dental implants won’t sacrifice the quality of your adjacent teeth.

We'll first check to make sure you're in good health, have an adequate volume of bone to support the implant, and have relatively healthy gums that are free of periodontal disease.

Step 1

Titanium implants are carefully inserted into your jaw so they can to fuse naturally with the bone.

Step 2

A small connector known as an abutment is attached to hold the implant in place while it heals.

Step 3

Sutures are added and the doctor will do a final inspection to make sure your new implant is complete.

Step 4

Two weeks later the doctor will remove your sutures and ensure you’re healing without any issues.

Step 5

Once you’ve fully healed (usually 5-6 months later) your dentist will insert new teeth into your implants.
